Prayers for Dee

Mother is doing fine.  She spent the night in a step down unit on the 3rd floor and was moved to a regular room on the 5th floor this afternoon.  Her pain is mostly been controlled but several adjustments have been made to the pain medication.  She's still receiving a small amount of oxygen and can't wait to get rid of that as it is drying her mouth out.  She is able to eat ice chips and take small sips of water.  They even bought a popcicle in today!   Her vital signs have   been pretty stable. 
     She sat up in a chair for 1 1/2 hours today.  She also took a very short walk with assistance.  That was somewhat of an accomplishment and I'm sure she'll try for even more tomorrow.
